GF performance chips

Okay so I have been wanting to debunk the GF performance chip mystery. Saw a thread on tacoma saying it was a complete waste of money and that it actually decreases mpg and hp. Basically what I got from it was the chip tricks your engine into increasing fuel because it thinks colder air is coming in. Another guy said he couldn't tell because he installed CAI and new exhaust at the same time. I didn't figure it increases 60 hp like the ad but just wandering if it benefits at all?

I would love to tell you that it will add a bajillion hp and a million tq but it won't do anything but take money out of your wallet. Stay away from them.
