Giant problem. Need new turbo for my 22RTEC

Well i got an 87 turbo 4runner from my buddy for free and have dumped about $2000 into it so far because it turns out the whole motor looks like it was put together in the hardware store parking lot and im down to the last item-the turbo. The manifold that was on there is a custom made hack job and is a T3 flange with a T3 turbo(obviously). So i bought a new 22rtec manifold but not only will the T3 i have not fit it, i cant get an adaptor because the t3 is completly shot. So my question is, what is my best option? short of spending $1000 on a new 22r turbo that i dont have, what else has a T4 flange stock? i need this vehicle ASAP also........................

i also forgot to say i have a good CT26 on my Supra if that will fit, im not certain the flange is the same but a post on ebay is saying a CT20 or CT26 will fit on the 22rt manifold..............

A CT26 turbo will bolt up to a stock CT20 manifold.
you just need to bore the hole bigger to match the CT26.

consider a Garrett m24 or even better yet, T4 dynamic. or stock ct20. look up LCengineering for low cost on both units plus hardware

I feel your pain. I was rebuilding a '86 turbo truck back in 1999. (Pre DSL) took me two years to find the manifold that the turbo bolts to.

Where are you at on this now?
