This is hands down the best exhaust for the money. With the V8 and a CAI in front of this exhaust it sounds brilliant. Not too loud either.

The stock exhaust muffled and choked the engine. Plus the rotten egg smell is gone too.

Took me 15 minutes to install... just use a sawzall and cut the old exhaust off. Two bolts and 4 hangers...

I also trimmed the pipe back from the bumper because it stuck out past the bumper and i burned my leg on it.

Agree with HiVel....best mod I've done. Plus, anyone who rides/drives it loves it as well. Not too loud, no drone and gives it the "right" sound. Ordered from Jason and couldn't be happier.

I was thinking of the SS but living in the SW, rust is not an issue. Besides the durability, are there any compelling reason to fork up the extra $100?

Oh.. Nah, not really. You should be good with aluminum in your climate.

I often make the mistake of buying parts for cars/motorcycles/anything that will outlive the life of the vehicle.

Yup, good price. 2 years ago I paid $370 on Amazon for the SS catback.

I'll tell you this, even if you aren't in an area where rust isn't an issue, your exhaust still makes it's own condensation and eventually will rot from the inside out. Yes, that will take YEARS, and the stainless just gives you peace of mine with a lifetime warranty. Aluminum is 1 year. Again, aluminum will last a long time, many years, stainless forever.
