Not sure if I should've posted in the Gallery, but feel free to move my post if nessesary.

Just wanted to share a few new shots I took of the 4R. Love how the Gibson looks and sounds on her. Installation was a breeze with the the help of some of the past post from here (t4r.org) that I used for reference. Lemme know what you guys think.

nice shots!

how is it any different from the stock exhaust? louder? how much louder? does it sound stock at idle? what about at acceleration?

It's defintely louder than stock, but subtle enough to keep the wife at bay, if you know what I mean. At idle it has a little rumble and as you accelerate, the sound will mimic your position on the tach. The rumble is loudest @ 3000 RPM and as you open up the throttle, it becomes almost stealth beyond that point. Hope that answers the question.
 
I've had mine over a year now and its gotten louder over time. At first it was very pleasant and not very noticable on light acceleration or highway driving. Over time it has gotten louder and has a deep rumble to it. Its now pretty loud(droney) at around 80mph. Below that its not bad on the highway and it rumbles around town.

I know how you feel, I just installed a Magnaflow cat-back, it is louder than stock, my girlfriend actually likes it! The Magnaflow on mine is loudest from 1600-2000 RPM. I'm gonna get really bad MPG on this tank of gas... :biggrin2:

I could've sworn I took more shots of the damn exhaust. :p haha Most of my shots were out of focus, since the lighting wasn't the best inside the hangar. I was too lazy to use a tripod this time.

I hope it doesn't get too loud, because that would not be good. I don't like it loud and I don't notice a drone yet. **knocks on wood**

Cockpit design w/twin turbofans leads me to believe it's a Dassault Falcon. It looks like the 50 but the 3rd engine is out of the picture. The haziness of the one pic makes the engine look like a sov. or X engine though.

So maybe there is a Citation X stuffed in between the Falcon 50 and the PC12???

I was thinking Gulfstream, perhaps a G5. It's hard to tell but I think I recoginize the engine placement on the rear fuselage and the flared wingtips.

Oh, and nice 4runner by the way. :D I should have a '07 4R SE 4x4 V8 in Galactic Gray coming soon. Those shots make me even more anxious!

Wow, not bad at all. But there is no Sov or X here. Oh its not a 50, but a 2000, and its sitting behind the PC12 with its tail into the corner of the hangar.

In one of the shots, there is a Gulfstream in there, but it's not a G5. It's a G3 (the grey airplane).

**Are you guys pilots or AMP's?**

Those are some great, great pictures!

Is the Gibson 4Runner cat-back discontinued? I keep checking Gibson's website and it says, "No parts available at this time." It's the only cat-back system I've seen so far that's a single pipe with a simple tip in the stock location. What's the part number?
 
Silly question, but how do you get the 4runner in focus, but things right behind it out? Looks cool and I'm sure it has more to do w/ the lense your using, I just don't know much about photography. My Cannon point and shoot is not going to cut it I guess!
