Gibson Exhaust

I saw someone installed a Gibson exhaust. I went to their website and I really like the exhaust clearance it gives the truck. I listened to the Tacoma sound clip and it does sound pretty nice. I have been searching for an exhaust for a while now with no real sucess. Does anyone else have a V6 with an exhaust they can recommend?

Magnaflow/TRD/Borla all make exhausts that will fit the v6

Thanks for the reply. I haven't seen anything that TRD makes for the V6. Especially if the V6 has XREAS... Am I missing something?

MagnaFlow is high quality and the best bang for the buck. It fits both V6/8, with an easy install. Oh, it also sounds SWEET!

i have the gibson's exhaust, so far it's pretty good. i'm happy that i got it, it was free so no complaints here. if you're interested in one then i would recommend that you get the stainless steel one. it'll last longer.

I actually got one of the free Gibson exhaust systems. I listed my 4Runner as a test vehicle and they took me. I had them install a Gibson exhaust in my motorhome and it made an unbelievable difference. I did not notice much difference in my 4Runner, perhaps I was expecting too much. It does sound a lot more throaty.
Definitely go for the stainless!

the V8 TRD Exhaust system fits the V6 as well. I haven't heard of fitment issues for the TRD, but I have for the Borla. The Borla exhausts works fine for the 2003-2004 vehicles with XREAS, but apparently the XREAS was relocated for the 2005 models and that is where there is a fitment issue. You can still fit the exhaust, but you can't fit the spare tire at the same time.
