Gibson exhuast install w/pics - 03 v8

The install is pretty straight forward. Night before soaked the hangers and bolts with penetrating oil. Only question I still have is whether to use the the constant tension springs from the original exhaust, I did resuse them.

I also didn't install the tip, going to hit that with hi-temp paint for black out look.


It also came a little close the spare tire, so I'm going to get some thermotec pipe heat shield to protect the spare.

Looks good! Some tape and you should be fine. It looks like the kit fits nicely.

I don't seem to hear any drone, you can hear difference but it's not annoying. When you step on it, it sounds great.

Not sure about the perfromance gains, It's also paired with volant air intake.
