girl problems...be honest

Alrite, I'm in a little stump right now. I like this girl like, she loves riding my 4runner. Its awesome, we go snowboarding up in big bear and all. We are cool as hell, she is such an awesome chic, but i'm not sure if she likes me the same way i like her. I would be scared to ruin a good thing, our friendship. She told me she liked me like 2 months ago, but then her ex shows up then becomes cool with that guy. Him and her aren't doin too great, thats why she hangs with me a lot. I know this sounds a bit like high school, but ohh well. She tells me everything...Am i considered as her 'gay' best friend...is she catchin interest in me? i'm kinda lost. any response would be more than appreciated!

Yeah, second guessing and trying to 'figure out' what is really going on in her head/heart is best determined by a date. Plus, you will drive yourself nuts trying to guess something that is always changing.

Make it a romantic date, not the buddy stuff you now do. Be honest, confident and communicate to her how you feel and how you have grown to appreciate who she is as a friend and possibly more.

I don't think you will 'ruin' it by asking her out and telling her your feelings. If you never try, you'll never know.

She will admire you for being so decisive and in charge of how you feel.

Don't try to push the relationship on the first 'date'. Show her you appreciate her for her personality, uniqueness and portray your best gentleman qualities; open the car door for her, open the doors to buildings, let her place her order at dinner first, basically be a gentleman.

If she likes what you are as a possible suitor, she will respond, you will know it. Girls can be aggressive when they want something. :)

We were all in high school and most of us have learned through experience and time.

Anyway, the real question is do you want to hit it? If so, why not try, if shes not interested she would have let you know by now. If she's hanging around she's obviously into you in some way. If you get shot down then apologize to her and carry on with the friendship.

Ask her if you can go the next step and if she does not then you are perfectly willing to be her friend only.

Then ask her out on a nice date. Now don't go and try to jam your tongue down her throat before the waiter brings water to your table. See if she takes the bait.

I appreciate all the replies. I'm suprised this thread got this many reponses so soon. Ok, this is my plan, we're going snowboarding on feburary 12th and 13th. We are having dinner on friday night so we can eat well before sleeping before we go to big bear. But its with a group of friends....or should i have the dinner more or other event more exclusive. Cause i want to tell her how i feel and ask her how she feels. Then hopefully slip her the tongue if all goes well....haha jk with the tongue part. Its crazy, we have a great time whenver we are with each other. I'm not really worried tellin her how i feel, she never makes me be in an awkward moment. WISH ME LUCK! i'll be sure to post the results. Thanks again to everyone who replied.

I'd do something more private and personal than a boarding trip with a bunch of friends. You want her to understand that you want to be with HER. Not her and a bunch of the guys.

Id say go for it, you have nothing to lose. but if you want my honest opinion, id say she has already put you in the "friends" category. she uses you to fill a void in her life, (aka exboyfriend man), then he comes back, and she hangs out with him. now shes hanging out with you again so that she has someone to confide in. its an ugly game man, but its true. now maybe shes the 1% of chicks that arent like that, and maybe she really DOES like you, but youll never know unless you ask.

5 years ago i used to hang out with this girl all the time. She liked me and i liked her but it was never the right time because we were with other people. Then she went away to school and Buh Bye....

Now 5 years later, she apeared out of no where, and the hardest problem I have is deciding if the girl that i have been with for the past 5 years is the right girl (there are other issues there as well) and if i should not pursue the girl I really liked 5 years ago (who I think may be perfection itself).

So what i am trying to say is....

Just do it. Be Honest. Bring up the conversation you had with her from 2 months ago. Ask her if she still feels the same and just tell her how you feel!

Otherwise, you will become a "Should-Head"

(I should have done that or I should have done this) ... Just do it!
