give me your opinions please

Have had a grey sr5 for close to a year now and decided to get some bfg's all terrains. I never plan on lifting it cuz one more inch means it will not fit in my ridiculously low garage. Would you go with the 275 or 265/70/17, i have see many photos with both sizes and I reserved the 275's but now I'm wondering if they would fill up the wheel well to much. And maybe the guys that bought the 275 size plan on a lift in the future. I think I may be over analyzing this but for that cash I was hoping for a little input from guys that know this truck. Thanks

From all the info I've read the 275's will be perfect since you don't plan on lifting it. It's pretty much the largest tire you can put on without any major rubbing.

After getting my SR5 I planned on getting some 275s, but than got the itch again and went with a full lift lol.

I think u just have to move the front fender liner forward a little bit. Easy to do.

I have 275 Firestone Destination A/T`s , stock ride height and have no rubbing at all. They are not that much bigger but you can tell the difference, I think they look better.

Got 3500mi+ on my 275/70R17 BFG A/T -- no rubbing anywhere, no lift.

I do think that looks great, its nice having all the examples to choose from. Anything I think about doing to my truck someone has pioneered the idea and I can see what it looks like first (even in the same color)... Thanks for your comments

Nice! I'm hoping to get my TE in the next couple of weeks and taking it up to the mountains for snowboarding but wanted to swap out the tires first. Are the 275/70R17 BFG A/T good in snow? and how are they on millage?

Checking Tirerack's web site, the 275/70's are not rated for snow. It is one of just a hand full of sizes that do not meet severe weather standards. The 275/65 appears to meet severe weather standards as well as the stock 265/70's.
