Hello all,
Yet another Noob in the forum. I didn't even know of it or feel that I had much reason to seek one out until recently when my ever so trusty 96 got rear ended and totaled at JUST 196K miles....snif snif. :cry2:

So of course I started :hunter: for 4Runner #2. So far I've noticed that there are not a lot of 'em on the lots these days. Great testament to the desirability of them in general. I'm stuck on a sweet privately oened Black 03 but wanted to get the inside scoop from the fam here first. I look forward to being part of it from now on.

I'm always open to good advice and helpful hints both in the forums or in PMs.

Can't wait for a new ride!:banana:

Sorry about your 96 but you cannot go wrong with a 4th gen. Which trim and engine are you considering? I had an 03 and it was a great truck. Good luck!

OK...it's official...I'm once again rollin' Toyota! Got an 03 LTD Gold pkg. Jet black with all the goodies. Looks like an 08 and runs great.

Just need to find a way to get rid of the stinkin sunroof rattle without feeding the families of the entire Toyota dealership staff! Its the only thing I don't have such a good feeling about.... They've already thrown close to the 2K number at me for that fix!
