Glove box light

My glove box light won't go on b/c it's not getting power. Any suggestions? All other lights work fine. The bulb was burned out so I replaced it with an led from v-leds (which work great when I hook it up to other sources).

Are your running lights on? The glove box light on my 04 comes on only if the running/head lights are on.

Really? Interesting. I'll double-check. I am new to the runner so these little things I haven't figured out. I looked thru my Chilton and googled it and searched on this website and didn't get anything.

Yep. I did exactly what you are doing. Got my bulb from V-Leds, finally figured out how to get the cover open, put in the new bulb, then....nothing. Took some time to figure out that it only operates with the headlights. Oh, and make sure you try fitting the bulb in both ways. It does matter.

LOL. I got the strip lights from v-leds. I thought that was worth a shot.

I've already replaced most of the others. I even put a switch and courtesy lights in the tailgate so they will operate the same as the dome lights. (Haven't done the write-up, waiting on the 5k PCB's to come back in stock).
