the truth is that aside from some restrictions here and there (mag limits for example), most gun control will fail at the Supreme Court level. the 2nd is too poorly written to give any side a sure fire argument, so the Supreme Court will default to status quo.

it will take an amendment to finalize this argument and that will never happen so both sides will forever use this as a way to make their more extreme sides think the sky is falling.

Electric cars are clearly the future. With all the R&D focused there, they will make them so good that people will want them over ICE vehicles. Just like everyone wants LED lights now - it didn't start out that way! I'm sure that my 2020 will be the last ICE vehicle that I buy.

What I am concerned about is what happens to all the rural residents in the big Western states. They need a big truck that goes a long distance for the way they work. If gas prices go too high there will be trouble. The country needs to get these people on board with something like the old rural electrification project.

I like EV's and technology a lot, but I really don't think gas options should go away either. I also don't believe everything needs to be electric, both can co-exist in the same environment. User choice is best.

You go too hard on any one thing and it’s going to be strain or drain on something… Just take the grid for example, people can’t even run AC in summer without having rolling blackouts. Unless everyone is producing their own power too, our grid can’t handle everyone going EV.

I love how those on the far right side of the gun discussion love to jump to conclusions. Be careful, don't look up, the sky might be falling.

Since you assumed, I will clarify.
My grandfather taught me woodworking. Gun handling and hunting was my dad and my uncle, then some friends and occasionally just by myself. I grew up on a small farm/ranch. I didn't keep it up after high school when I no longer lived there and we had sold most of the ranch land. It's just not what I enjoy. The woodworking is what stuck.
I still have several guns even though I don't enjoy hunting. I don't have a problem with sport rifles (ARs and the like) and I don't believe we should have a gun registry.

As for your scary post about the extreme gun control we've seen in the past 100 years...
I bought my last gun online. Sure I had to pick it up at a licensed dealer but I've always assumed that had as much to do with the background check (which I'm also fine with) and making sure some money stays with local B&M stores. Is it the most convenient thing? No. Did it limit my options? No. Did it affect my pursuit of liberty? No.

And, No I don't think you need a 15+ round magazine b/c you're too lazy to reload or carry additional mags, or that civilians (no matter what kind of juvenile GI Joe playing illegal militia they belong to) need a fracking automatic machine gun.

Toyota is moving along slowly but deliberately, planning on introducing two EVs into the US market in 2022.

Meanwhile they are still committed to plug-in hybrids and hydrogen vehicles.
