Has anyone modified the hitchstep to go more flush into the hitch?

Drill a new hole?

How hard was it? Needed special drill?

Guess no one did a mod on the unit as of yet.

Well I did it yesterday and I think it looks much better flush with the hitch rec. part of the vehicle.

Was easy to do too, just used a high speed drill to make 1 new hole on each side.
