Go wheeling in GWNF in winter?

Hi,

I have been reading this forum for a while but this is my first post. I am a beginner of off roading. Thinking to have a two day trip to GWNF and do some wheeling on the trails during the winter break. I know GWNF is great in spring and summer but not sure it is good place to go in winter. I just don't want to go there and find out it is a ghost place. Any one went there in winter? Does it sound too crazy? Thanks.

There's not really that much there for 2 days, and it's hunting season right now, but you could check it out.

I am in NJ and it is 4-5 hrs drive so I planned to stay one night there. For the hunting season do you mean the hunting areas are mixed up with the ATV/OHV areas and it is not very safe driving inside? Thanks.
