Ok..... It came the time for the dreaded expense of changing out my set of tires. I shopped around everywhere and when I took everything into account, I went with Costco. I had them bring in a new set of Michelin LTX AT2's. I used these tires years ago while living in upstate New York in SNOW, MUD, MUCK, CRAP and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! They were outstanding. (Just imagine an Alabama Boy in Upstate New York and this should lend some credibility to my opinion of these tires.) Costco tried to get me to get some Bridgestones but I said NO. (After all, having the word "stone" in the name of tires does not bode well.....)
I went with what I knew to be good tires. They are installed and I could feel an "instant" difference in handling and control. If you have the $$$$, go with the best! Don't cheap out on tires and spend years having buyer's remorse. These freaking AT2"s are incredible!!!!
