Goat windshield wipers

OEM all the way... when I sold my 4Runner last year at 120K, it still had the original wiper blade assemblies. All I ever had to do was replace the rubber inserts with genuine Toyota replacements every 25K miles. They worked perfectly without squeaking, streaking, or skipping the whole 120K miles. I'll be doing the same with the wiper inserts on my GX.

I've tried may different brands of wiper blades over the years, and have never found one that I really liked.

YMMV.

OEM seems great to me

I first tried OEM and it's been 2 1/2 years in and they're still fine. I'm sticking with OEM for now. Perhaps they cost more than some but they seem to last. Didn't even have to replace the inserts. Nada.

Another fan of OEM's here (Toyota and Lexus both). I'll add - Quarterly Clay Bar and a thorough windshield cleaning also does wonders for any wiper's performance (clean when replacing blades).

The best wipers are the ones with a warranty—I buy them at Auto Zone or Advanced Auto—pay once (buy the cheap warranty),and get them replaced for free when they stop working well

Same here. 2.5 years, 36k miles still on stock wipers and still functioning as new. Never running them over ice or large dried bug guts increases their life span tremendously. Not always avoidable...
