Gobi Awning Brackets + RTT

Having trouble getting through to Gobi so thought I'd ask here. Has anyone mounted both a fold-out style roof top tent on a Gobi rack and an awning? If so do we know if the Gobi awning brackets work?

I'm not sure how far the Gobi brackets push the awning out, but I could see potential clearance issues. Looking at these brackets and wanted to get it sorted out before I order due to Gobi's "free/included accessories" deals. Thanks.

I don't have a photo of the awning and RTT open at the same time, but I haven't had any issues. Gobi stealth, Smitybillt Overlander (not XL), and ARB 2500 on Gobi brackets.

What mounts are you using for the RTT onto the GOBI rack?

The RTT was mounted with the supplied bolts and flat bracket to the Gobi adjustable crossbars. I found it to be a huge PITA to get to the bolts as the crossbars sat so close to the floor of the Gobi. Next time I go to mount it, I will be trying u-bolts (think muffler clamps) and on a set of Yakima crossbars on Railgrabs to have more room underneath to reach bolts.

No problems here either.

The brackets push the awning out far enough so you can get your metal rods in to hold the rain fly up.
