Gobi Ladder Finally Came!

ok so after waiting almost 2 months and lots of frustration i have finally received my ladder... I had class this morning and when i got home it was waiting on the front porch so picked it up then had to get to work so im planning to install it tonight after work or tom afternoon during my break between class and work.

lol ya ive always wanted to do the same! jealous... haha but ya ill try to get at least a teaser pic if i dont get time to put it up before it gets dark out.

ok so jsut got off of work and so here is my teaser pic... i tried to fit the top mounting bracket but it doesnt mount flush against the door like it says its supposed to in the instructions so im hoping to get some helpful pics from u guys that do have this ladder and ill get back onto it tom.

Not sure if it mounts the same way as the Baja ladder but I had the same problem. Had to mess around with it for a while to get it to fit exactly right without rubbing the inner hatch. Actually got really frustrated with it and accidentally started to close the hatch with it not properly aligned and put a nice dent in the top of it. Thankfully no one can see it! Best of luck to ya. Can't wait to see it mounted

lol ya dude so i relooked at miller's old thread on how he mounted the gobi and ya so i figured out after looking at the pics for a while that he basically did the same thing i was gonna do so ill have some pics up tom afternoon...

ok so finally finished the install and got some pics... This thing takes way too much effort for me to install it again in the TX heat!

I know what you mean! The Baja is the same exact way! Pain in the A** to mount up there for such a simple thing. Looks good though man

Gobi Ladder

Did you get the 2003 4runner gobi ladder. I don't see another models. does this one fit the third gen?
