I got my rack installed by Gobi in late March, but since there was a issue with the ladder and the spoiler, they had to make a new ladder which I finally received on July 1st! I was back and forth with Gobi Since middle of April to at least get a status update and kept getting the runaround, but finally got my ladder!

I've lost faith in Gobi. Seeing everyone having problems with getting answers. And my own issue with a light bar mount for a 40" Baja Designs OnX6. The wait wasn't bad considering wait times, 11 weeks (I figured they'd have these on the shelf), but nowhere on their website or install documentation does it say that that bracket is made specifically for the 40" OnX6 Curved light bar, which I am assuming looking at it installed. Well, my light bar has no adjustment, point downward and hits the two upright bars that connect the base of the rack to the top bar. Either I am missing something or I paid money for a bracket a light bar its "specific" for that I have to customize/alter. And I can't get any answers from them.

From the pic it looks like you have the multi light version but need the lightbar version ?

I think you may be right. Looks like their customer service may be catching up. I finally got a response and they are sending me new brackets that will push the light bar slightly forward to compensate for those upright bars.

Did you order the light bar or multi light version?

If I ordered the light bar, and they sent that, I'd be pretty upset. The cost of shipping that one back and a new one out to you wouldn't be cheap for them. I'd look to get a partial refund after paying that much and waiting that long only for it to be incorrect.

So almost a year after ordering from original groupbuy, I finally was able to install the rack...covid, state laws, pancreatitis, family stuff, you name it

Pretty easy with the help of a friend or two

Have a couple concerns/?s to everyone who has completed installing(not done fairing/ladder)

I have a 5th gen n the last instruction was to get the front of rack to be ~3.25” from roof...
My passenger side is 3”, driver 3 1/8”
My rear is 2.5” from roof
However the thing is level

So after I adjust height issues, I’m worried about a slant n then is the 3.25” a big deal for having the fairing fit correctly?
Is the difference in height from front to back just following the shape of the truck?
