I think it's ridiculous that the forum is regulating people's opinion of a business that sells to the community.

As [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] mentioned, members deserve to know of issues (including legal matters) before committing to a purchase. I'm with [MENTION=84680]wadle5[/MENTION] on a lot of what he said. You also don't need to have personal experience with a vendor or product to warn others, again that's the point of this forum is to review trucks/products and vendors.

With all due respect to the mods, I think you guys need to lay off people posting their opinion. As I shared with one of the other MODS, I realize that's how the forum survives is through sponsorship but there has a line drawn with how much silencing can be done on a PUBLIC forum.

I have made decisions to purchase or not purchase based off of what other's have said, and it would only be fair to continue this practice.

I have done group buys and can relate to the frustration of the OP, but again, it comes with the territory. Just like you are telling people if you don't like it move on, if you don't like the posts, move on, you don't have to respond.

Great copyrighted product from a horrible company. Fantastic marketing compensation for all the crap the company has pulled. Hope you guys get your stuff delivered in a timely manner as historically they have made it more complicated as necessary.

This is a for sale / group buy thread.

There are plenty of threads and places elsewhere on the forum for you to voice your opinions/agendas on products and companies.

Just say you have issues with Trijicon or Bridgestone companies, and today there are people who posted "for sale" threads for a Trijicon ACOG optic and a Bridgestone whatever tires..... do you feel "obligated" to crap those threads? and warn people ON that particular "for sale" thread about whatever you have issues with? (while you don't even have particular personal experiences with those companies or products? and you weren't being ASKED...)

Case closed.

Again, the information is out there; and you are entitled to your opinion/agenda (even tho all the actual involved parties are all considered the original issue "settled"), but please post your opinion and agenda elsewhere (MODs were not trying to "silence" you, please don't put words in their mouth and make them look like the bad guys..... they are just telling you that this is a "classifieds"/"for sale"/"group buy" thread for the INTERESTED parties, not for bickering and spreading your own agenda....).

I feel that in a forum anyone should be able to voice opinions/experiences...this comes hand in hand with the internet. As far as if it belongs in this post...I think it could be beneficial towards future GB members. [MENTION=119516]jicko[/MENTION] I know you do these to help others out...and if you are truly just doing that then relax and let him share other experiences...where's the harm to you? I mean you don't get a kick back right?

Now onto my personal experiences...I did not take advantage of the last Gobi GB...I ordered a Gobi on my own a little over a month and a half ago directly from them. I know they have drama with some court crap blah blah...well they have done nothing to me...they are very accommodating towards me so I am very glad I purchased my rack thru them.

As stated which I noticed you left out(Purposefully or not), when starting a group buy and getting members to give money to a company, you should be up front with the company and the history of it. Your other bridgestone and acog arguments are irrelevant scape goats.

As previously mentioned, previous issues had been dealt with, as far as I know.

If you still have a personal experience or issue (rather than you read somewhere, or you heard of some urban myth) ...... with delays or rusting or whatsoever.... (and you had contacted Gobi, and issues had NOT been corrected..... or you just felt that they weren't corrected appropriately), then feel free to voice it here or start a discussion thread in the appropriate sub-forums... or PM me.... I will try everything in my power to help you out....(but please understand that I do not work for the company, I don't get paid for this.... or nor I even am in the industry)
