Patiently waiting... work is only a few of miles away, picking up for factory install when ready... It will be worth the wait, awesome GB, great price. Do I smell paint baking?...I am a patient person, I am not a stalker... eep:

Very glad the racks are starting to roll in for you guys. At this point I am unfortunately going to have to put on my "nasty new yorker" hat when I call up Trail Duty. I contacted them 2 weeks ago and they said I would have my rack in 1-2 weeks.. That didn't happen.

The lack of transparency is just bad business IMO.

Anyways, let's hope the racks keep pouring in.

Just got my email from TrailDuty saying mine was shipped and 5-10 days for shipping.

For reference my order date was 10/22

spoke with Gobi today (done dealing with TD, they never gave me an answer on anything) and they mentioned my rack will be going on today or tomorrow. They said they will have a huge amount of racks going out this week and are just having some trouble with the shipper because they got a foot of snow last night. Hopefully we all get them soon.

I'm fairly certain there are no racks and won't be. You all saying you got them and installing them must work for Gobi and are probably being compensated for your posts.

I actually emailed gobi about any blemished to slightly damaged racks they might have on clearance. Since I live in Denver, CO.

I received a phone call and the rep told me they didn't have any blemished racks for sale.

She did offer a great package deal for me to come into their warehouse/ storefront. She would sell me my choice of racks and a ladder installed for $1295. Or $1395. including tax and labor.

This is a great deal, but my budget wouldn't allow it at this time. Getting new tires and wheels first.

Maybe email them and if the offer is still valid, it would be a great ski trip vacation and a great deal on a gobi rack.

TD emailed me to say almost ready, but needed to know if I wanted light bar ready configuration. I had told them no when I originally ordered in October, but said no again. Makes me think they haven't even started on my rack, but we'll see....Maybe they do the top bar at end, I guess I'll hope that is the deal.

Mine shipped on Monday. CO to NV, with a brief proving detour to the actual Gobi Desert of Outer Mongolia to ensure it meets all standards associated with one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. My stoke factor is off the charts. On an unrelated note, sarcasm is an excellent coping mechanism during times of stress or anticipation...

Same here. They called me around 9 this morning and I kept asking if they could deliver it today. Looks like it'll arrive Monday for me.

Finally got around to installing the gobi rack. The light bar isn't install yet just had it up there to see what it'll look like. Hope everyone else gets their racks soon !

There is a noticeable difference when you install the ladder. Next buy would be the lift gate gas springs

Does anyone know why doesn't Gobi make gas springs for the 4th gen ? Do we not need them ? Anyone with the ladder and a 4th gen can you chime in if there are issues lifting the gate once the ladder is installed?

I have a 4th gen with the ladder. They will hold the door up but will not open it. It is a problem. I emailed Gobi, but no response. I emailed the seller and they said they would look into it but haven't responded.

So you have to manually lift it or assist it going up and once it's fully open it will stay ? I can probably live with that.
