how are you planning to run your light bar (I see the brackets to support)?

Waiting for mine to arrive and considering drilling through the body or double sided tape to the inside of the windshield.

what have those with light bars or rear/side flood/spot lights down with their cables?

I plan on running it down the left side windshield strip. I regret not tucking it under the front left Gobi leg before sealing it down to the roof.

When I tried to stuff the wires into left side with the windshield I noticed that the gap was smaller on the left side than the right (which I think is normal when windshields are installed). I'm going to have to try again on a warm day and hope the molding flexes enough for me to stuff the wire in. I'm running 18 gauge wires. If I can't make it work through the windshield then i'll probably run the wires to the back. I notice that Gobi preinstalled some wires in the rack as well. I'll need to figure out how to they're ran. Very, very last resort would be to drill.

Perfect timing... I finally got off working 190hrs every 2 weeks since mid January. So I can have time to install my rack; when it comes in... can't wait!!!

Perfect timing... I finally got off working 190hrs every 2 weeks since mid January. So I can have time to install my rack; when it comes in... can't wait!!!

Same boat! received an email yesterday saying my rack, light bar, and rear lights should arrive next week!

I finally got frustrated of waiting and called Monday, they said mine was shipping this week and I paid 11/12 so if you paid around the same time you should be hearing something soon hopefully.

Its still better than I can weld, but I agree it's pretty sloppy.

It's been nearly a month since I called and was told it would ship that week or next. I haven't called back yet.

I hope I can install this by myself and my 5ft tall wife... excited to install it and finally use my Raingler net

I hope I can install this by myself and my 5ft tall wife... excited to install it and finally use my Raingler net

I did it with my wife and she's 4'10.

I left my oem racks on my cruiser and put a cardboard on the roof. Took off the sunroof insert to make it lighter.

She stood on the tailgate and eased it on the roof. I was on the floor and pushed it up.

Once on the roof, I put all 8 gutter mounts and bolted it down. Total time 3 hours because I didn't have help after she guided it to the roof.

You don't actually stand on the roof.
You use a step stool or ladder from the side to mount it. Just put the cardboard on the roof to protect the paint when you slide it on.

Mount it up then remove the cardboard.

I did mine myself. I got all the brackets on then I put part of the cardboard box on the roof to protect it while I slide the rack on. Then I did the box out and bolted it down. I like how the manual says with the help of 2-3 friends put it on the roof, lol.
