GOBI Roof Rack *Group Buy* Winter 2015

This wait is killing me. I ordered Nov 17th so it sounds like I still have a while. :faint:
For those who've received their glorious rack and are running LED's, are you using curved or straight LED bar? I'm curious which would "fit" better with 3rd gen lines.

I ordered mine on November 4th...

But I am running a straight the curve doesn't follow the lines of the rack. So it doesn't quite look right

Makes sense. Thanks! Gonna order the bar so when the big box shows up I can go nuts installing everything at once. Your runner looks great btw.

yeah I excited too but my wife was the one pushing to install the rack and the ladder; lol...

Well, another week down and still no contact about shipping or scheduling delivery. I called Gobi last week and was told mine would ship this week. Not surprising because I called around 5 weeks ago and was told it would ship 4 weeks ago. I ordered mine on NOV 5th.

I'm going to call again today to inquire about my rack. I'm going on 21 weeks tomorrow. I'm leaving in a week for vacation and won't be back until the 17th.

Finally got mine last week!

I ran the wires up along the windshield molding in the groove.
Cant even tell they are there and no need to drill a hole.

What gage wire are you running? I cant get my 18g to sneak behind the driver windshield molding. Seems like the passenger side has a larger gap, but I don't want to run it across the whole car. BTW, looking good!:thumb:

That's insane.

Called yesterday and was told it had shipped, but was delayed due to snow storms. The lady told me she would call me back to give me a delivery date. No call. I was never informed that it was shipped.

I ran it in the little grove on the outer part. 12 gauge I think. I will try and get a pic when I get home if you would like.

Called Gobi Wednesday to ask about the status of my rack. Was told that it shows shipped, but delayed due to snow storms(???). Was told I would get a call back with a delivery estimate. Never got a call. Called again Friday. Was told she would go back to the warehouse to check the status and call me back. No call again. I am getting VERY disappointed in how Gobi is handling this. I know there were over 100 orders, but when many that ordered after I did have already received their rack, you can see my frustration.

Is there anyone else, that ordered in the first week of November, that is still waiting for their rack? I ordered mine NOV 5th. I have now surpassed 21 weeks.

I did not get in on the group buy, but I did get the same deal as the group buy (asked GOBI about it and they said they would honor it). I ordered my gobi rack on 5 January and just received the call for home delivery. So, if you have not received and ordered before me....call them.
