I worked VERY hard to get this GB put together for the team, lots of convincing and negotiating behind the scene. They don't really have to do this for us as their products will sell whether they are discounting them or not. They still having one of the best racks out there for our 4Runners and for Jeeps. They are already production volume constrainted too. They are only doing this for us just cuz we had a good relationship with them.

One thing that should make you feel better tho, you got your rack before anyone else here, right?

Thanks for putting this together. Timing couldn't of been better for me. Plus I think I would of went with a cheaper rack but the discount of this buy I decided what the heck. Now for the waiting. Also let me just say the people I spoke with on the phone were super nice. Made me feel a lot better about dropping $1400 bucks. Lol.

I am #3 and made my order. Is it weird that I like how long this lead time is? For me it gives me a chance to prepare my rig for the upgrade. Plus the customer service at Gobi was super nice. We talked about MOAB and what not.

Would it be cool to ask that if you've received your email that you give the rest of us a heads up? I'm much lower on the list so I've got a ways to go. I might have missed the post but I didn't realize ordering had started. Congrats to those that have already gotten their Golden ticket, while the rest of us can drool over "maybe some day soon".
