No rise stealth with led light bar?

Has anyone here added a led light bar to their Gobi Stealth with no rise
? I have been told you can only mount a single row of leds if you have the no rise option.

I got with the rise, want no rise til I saw it in person.... just looked unfinished to me and I like the protection for my led

I have a Gobi no rise on order and would also like to see if anyone has pics of a single row led with their Gobi no rise. Thank you.

...Gobi said the no-rse would be $165 extra (I think that's the exact amount, it was close to that if not) which surprised me...

I contacted Gobi after ordering through Trail Duty to request my order be for the "no rise" rack. Gobi said $150. I contacted Trail Duty and ask for the no rise option. They didn't charged extra. :thumb:

Not sure if Gobi includes them but Trail Duty also included the ladder, heavy duty gas struts and shipping for free. Plus I think there was a discount code some where but I don't recall.

If you want a double row light bar why bother getting the no-rise option?

No rise looks better IMO. That is the number 1 reason why I went with a flat rack because the rise portion on the Gobi made it difficult to put my hard shell tent on there. Plus you can still install a light bar easily with the no rise optioned Gobi.

Yeah, but a double row light bar would render that moot. If you want to use a double the rise makes more sense to add some protection. A single row would most likely work fine on the no rise.

Went with single, but it came with light mounts.. I like it because it's easier to haul my canoe, ie: it's not jacked in the front for wind to grab the front..

Interesting thread... I've been looking at the BajaRack for just this same reason. The rise on the Gobi looks kinda cool (to me) but I have no use for this function - lights aren't an option in the foreseeable future. I have a pretty heavy canoe (Mad River 16ft) and the stock rails w/ aftermarket crossbars are a PITA. The full-length rack would allow me to get the boat centered (front to back) much better. This is how it sits now (but on the Trail Edition rails). Me no likey.

Sorry I don't have any guidance as to how to mount your single row light bar on the Gobi no rise but I would love to see photos once you get it figured out.

Baja Roof Rack

I got the Baja Utility flat rack without a sunroof opening or the mesh floor. I wanted it flat so I could load lumber once in a while for home projects and because it's lower. My driveway trees are a low hedge-like row that I can't trim up and it barely clears. When I lift the 4Runner it will be pretty close to my garage door opening.
Here it is with some plywood stacked on top, which is much easier with a flat rack and the Utility rack cross rails spaced at about 4" on center.
Costs less than a Gobi rack too.

Just picked up a single row 14,000 lumen light bar msrp $800 but I got it for $100. My buddy at UTV HOOKED IT UP. it was a display model. Gonna look super clean with my no-rose GOBI.
