Gobi Stealth Rack

So the only way to get one that's level front to rear, is to special order it? I didn't see anything about that on Gobi's site.

They are all made to order, from what I understand. People make adjustments and have specific figurations done all the time.

Yeah, the thing is, trailduty.com is offering the stock Gobi stealth rack with a free ladder. That's a $230 savings that I wouldn't get if I have to custom order the rack direct from Gobi.

Trail Duty will be helpful in making that happen. You can get your discount and the rack you want. I would call them, discuss what you would like and then place your order. :biggrin2:

Mistaken is right. I ordered through Trailduty.com to get that deal a while back and then called Gobi direct and trailduty along the way. They were both very helpful. You can definitely take that deal and build it just how you want. No problem.

Gobi

I have a Gobi "no rise" rack on order straight from Gobi and I'm getting the free ladder and movable crossbars. I'm about 4 weeks into my order and they are letting me pay for mine while they build it and the last payment will come out when it ships. They have been super helpful and everything has been great. I think Alex is the lady that helped me out. Waiting still sucks but at least its given me an opportunity to do something like a lay-away program on it. Can't wait...

Wow. This is good to know!

Man I wish I knew about the "no rise" option. I would far prefer that myself.

Have you seen that most of the top is covered with the Gobi rack on? The question is legitimate unless people can magically get their hands under there and properly wax it?

Attach a rag to a swifter sweeper, unbolt your Gobi Rack and wax, or just be like me and dont even wax it at all.

I have seen it, was being a smart-ass because I wax my vehicles about once every six years and I only keep them about three years..... :hatsoff:

Another one of my questions is less about wind noise and more about airflow. Do you still get decent airflow into the cabin via the sunroof with the deflector on the front?
