I have a '94 Ranger 4x4 with 240k miles and has been a great truck with very little maintenance ever done. I should probably keep driving it, but it is getting rusty and I have decided to get an '03-04' runner. From everything I know and from those that have them I believe they are probably one of the most perfect vehicles ever built.
Anyway, I drive my vehicles for a long time before switching and since I am buying used I want it to be extremely clean and rust free. I know a broker who I am going to have look for one for me in Florida. I am not in a hurry so I am willing to wait until just the right one shows up. I have read the debates about V6 vs V8 and I think there are pros and cons to both. . . . . maybe. . . I don't know. As of right now I am open to either as long as the rest of the T4R is excellent or you all lean me in towards one of them. Since I have never owned one is there anything else I should know or keep an eye on. I know the 6 doesn't need a TB change like the 8, but do they really need plugs changed every 30k miles and why?
Sorry if some of these have been beaten to death in here, but tell them to me again.:lookout:
