Going to miss my 3rd Gen, but for good reason...

Welp, delivered the 3rd gen to MaDukes, cuz the 5th gen will be here on Election Day.

I think you aren't being well received because it looks like you joined today to boast of your collection of cars and that your gona get something better (in your eyes) by upgrading to a newer 4runner. For that reason it is not well received. If you had been a regular poster then you wouldn't be receiving this hostility.

I'm not looking for your approval, this is the internet. I utilize forums like this for information just like anyone else. Making friends is secondary and is a nice benefit. But if there is hostility to someone that appears new, then it benefits no one as everyone will be considered a pompous @ss, and the forum would rarely gain new information from outside and newer sources.

So maybe, rather than be snide and reply with unpleasant comments to potential newbies, take your heads out of your butts and welcome those that might have some helpful information for others..

Also, another thing I might add is that I'm a hobbiest metal fabricator with a full powder coating setup and then some (I could go into more detail, but I dont want to brag like you're claiming I do.)

So I'm not some toolbox that thinks armor-all on my tires and a bug guard is a huge upgrade.

yeah not sure why some of these guys are being so rude... but cj80 has a point in saying it's not typical when someones first post on a 3rd gen forum is about selling it and "upgrading" to a 5th gen, it might have been better to post this in the 5th gen section. Still no reason for these derogatory replies however.
