Hi,

Was there a gold toyota emblem on the radiator grille of the 2001-2002 4Runner? anyone know the part number?
the 1996-2000 emblem is smaller compared to the 2001-2002.

Yes, I have a 2001 SR5 Gold Letter Edition with the gold toyota emblem on the grill. I believe it came with either the sport package, which had the colored keyed bumpers, running boards and fenders along with other upgrades, or it was a stand alone upgrade. Sorry, I don't know the part number.

So that it looks like half of the other builds on here? Not sure how it helps.

Gold emblems are a very 90's option for a very 90's vehicle. It works with the overall vehicle.

This was a stand alone option for me. If recall correctly, the dealer didn't charge me for it. Definitely a 90's thing but hey, I'll keep my 24K gold plated emblems. They only worked well with certain colors. The IMJ is one of the few colors where the gold actually looks ok.

Your 4Runner came to mind when I said that. I like them on totally stock 96-98 Limiteds in Black as well. I wouldn't recommend them on a 2001 Glacier Pearl SR5, though.

I have a gold one (2001 limited) Would be happy to exchange to the black one :ybrick: Was thinking to remove grill and paint it in black as well as gold logo. I also have gold license plate frame with 4Runner on it. PM me

That's interesting that they would be a different size. I still have all of my original Gold emblems off my 99 in a box.

I did like the Gold when the truck was new. It goes with Desert Dune & the Oak interior. I de-badged the truck because it was looking dated. I only have the Toyota Chrome logo on the front & back.
