The most important details have been left out: why are you lifting it, and what are your plans? If it's for looks only and no off road use, a simple spacer lift will work great and do all you need (and no change in ride quality). That Toytec setup you linked to would be a step up from a spacer lift, it would work better off road and would probably change ride quality (I don't have experience with it, so can't say how). If you do much off roading, you'll easily reach the limits of the stock shocks and I'd say go ahead and get new shocks/coils together. I wouldn't buy that kit then go buy shocks separate. There are some great package deals out there. If you do a ton of off roading, coilovers would be needed. Your plans for the rig and reason to lift are critical factors that'll greatly change what's needed.

Overall, Toytec has some great products and I wouldn't hesitate to use their stuff, but only IF it met my needs.
 
I have gone offroading before, but it really isn't my biggest priority. I am going to get some bigger tires if I lift it though, and they're probably going to be BFG A/T 265s. How much would a spacer lift be, and what is the best spacer lift? Also, what is the best spring coil lift? What else would I have to buy if I got that one?

A spacer lift will be fine for mostly highway and mild off road use. Best deal out there IMO is the Daystar kit, it's 2.5" front and 1.5" rear. It runs $136 shipped from 4wheelparts. Outside of material which I'm not sure if it makes a difference, most spacer lifts are identical so I'd go with the Daystar for price alone. Many here are running that kit and seem to be relatively pleased.

For a little added performance off road you could do the coils, or a combination of coils/spacers. For this you could go with either this Toytec package that uses rear coils and front spacers or this one with OME coils all around.

Personally if I was going to mess with swapping out coils, I'd also go ahead an do the shocks as well. What I'd suggest is the first package that uses the Toytec rear coil combined with Bilstein 5100s or a full OME setup.

You can probably search around and find that stuff cheaper, I used that site because I know they had everything I was looking for. Toytec is also a forum sponsor and offers members here a discount, you'll need to PM "Toytec Lifts" for the code.

What would you guys recommend for a spacer lift? I'm either going to get the daystar 2.5/1.5 or the cornfed 3/2. Also for the tires what would you guys recommend? I'm thinking either Nitto Terra Grapplers or BF-Goodrich. The size I want to get is 275/ 65R18. Thanks

daystar 2.5/1.5 is reported to really give you 3'' up front so the only difference in it from cornfed is corfed is aluminim and daystar is poly spacers. the spacer lift in my opinion is the fj cruiser daystar 2.5''/1.5'' because the front is not a preload spacer, but a top out which is 1000x easier to install with NO spring compressor. also when i had my 3 inch spacer lift from toytec i had to compress the springs to install it. after about 5000 miles i significantly saw sagging. top out spacers wont wear out the factory struts or cause sagging. i think you will be pleased with this set up and easily fit 265/75/16 or 265/70/17 which are both 32'' tires. it can even fit 285 size which is 33'' tires

Need a measurement from someone with daystar lift.

I'm probably going to lift my 4runner soon and I need a measurement with someone with the FJ Daystar 2.5/1.5 lift and 33 inch (or 32) tires. If someone could measure the car from the ground, to the highest point of the car, that would be great.

Can't help on the measurement, but wheel spacers are for looks or trying to clear wider tires. As long as you stick with stock width tires you don't need them and probably could get by going a little wider.
