I bought my old friend in SC brand new. That was 23 years ago. But life has brought me to a crossroad I must say good buy. We have been together thru living from TN all the way from SC,TN to WA. The Photo Album will describe best all the things we have been thru together and the bad. I do not know how to price it I have done Vigil Repair Work (The instant some thing breaks I repair it till now that I am selling her I will just deduct from sale price) and, to up grading to SR5 level plus some Custom Work like Painting the whole 4Runner to adding 1994 Seats. The album will describe the plusses and the negatives.

Wow. Don't sell it if you can help it! I had an '88 from new until 1997. I just searched for months and found a very nice 1989 with 140k for $2400. I live in VA and looked for months and kept a spreadsheet of what nice 1st gens went for. Yours would easily bring $4000 here. You possibly spent half that on the paint job so maybe that's not what you want to hear. I think you should put it on eBay with a reserve you can live with. I bet it will fetch $6500 or upwards with your great pictures plus the fact that it's a one owner car. Might also include a photo of records and owner's manual.

I initially saw your pictures in the albums section and looked you up to ask about your rear view mirror upgrade. Mine's a DLX too. Were the wires for the map lights lurking up there under the rear view mirror or did you have to run a new power wire?
