I have a friend that has a 2000 Limited for sale. It is in great shape and has every option for that year. It has 116K on it and he is asking $7000.00 for it. What do you guys think? Is the mileage OK. He has had the vehicle checked by a Toyota dealer and it checks out good. New timing chain, catalytic converter. This will be a 3rd vehicle for my family.

Yeah man. I would say that is a good deal. It should have a timing belt instead of a chain.

2000 was the last year for the locker and for the 4 cyl...and the 5spd

It sounds pretty good, especially a Limited 4X4. I like that it is from a friend. 116,000 is pretty good for a 2000. I would consider that slighlty below average mileage. You said the timing chain was replaced, my guess is the timing belt and water pump has been changed, might want to check to be sure. Also, the cat. converter, well that is a plus.bsimpson said:
