2016 4Runner trail premium with 44,500 miles for $33,500? As far as I can tell no scratches or dents and one owner. KBB has fair market range of 32,500 to 36,000. Im not sure if the KBB price reflects the mileage. I tried to search but the only thing I could find was "how much did you pay for new 4Runner." Seeing this 4runner is not new I figured I would ask what other people paid for their used 4runner. Thanks for any help offered.

No. You could get a brand new trail premium with zero miles on it for $5k more. I don't think the cash savings is worth it considering the amount of miles along with wear and tear. That's a lot of miles on a 2016 as well so you consider if this is a work vehicle or they traveled a ton.

It depends on your local demand. Seems like a fair price for my area. I do agree with checking the finance rates for new vs used.

With that many miles in so short time I'd be looking a what service it had and what the brakes and fluids looked like. I'm leaning toward no.

Is this from a Toyota dealer? If yes, it should be a CPO.

If not a Toyota dealer, it was likely bought at auction which typically means someone didn't want it.

Also if not CPO, offer $30K and walk if you don't get it for very close to that. As said: too close to new money.

NO. Get an SR5 4X4 for that price or spend a little more (~$4k) and get a ORP

I don't think that's a good deal. That said I paid $32.5k for a 2014 Trail Premium with a bit more miles. Consider this, the new one is maybe $5k more. Once you put on new tires, an aftermarket warranty, brake job and maybe a few more service items, you are already at about the cost of a new one.

4Runner just has ridiculous residual values. More reason to buy a new one.

Y'all pointed out some stuff I never considered such as new breaks and the 50,000 mile maintenance costs. On another note does anybody regret getting softex seats over cloth?

We have the softex in our 2013 4Runner and cloth in our 2000 Tundra. Both have held up well.

I'd coin up the extra $5K and buy new. New warranty, new smell and you know what has been done to/in it. I've never bought preowned, so I am biased.

I also searched for awhile and ended up buying a CPO 2013 sr5 4wd with 3rd row seat with 66000 miles for $23k.

I think it's a bit high price wise considering you can get a new one for $36-38k range.

I just got a new 2017 TRD Off Road Premium with sun roof and KDSS for 39,700. Don't even have to pay for service or an oil change for 24,000 miles.

With the miles on the one you are looking at, I would certainly consider new. There might be leftover 17's that could be had at better discounts than I got.
