Good deal or not (2wd trade for 4wd)

My 4runner is a 2wd and for a long time now, ive wanted a 4wd 4runner. I KBB the value of mine and its roughly 12k. I found a used 2006 white Limited 4runner with 94k miles that is going for 18k.
Is it worth $18k? Is 94k miles alot? I know the engines lasts a couple hundred thousand miles, but my family never buys used cars. (im 17)
The limited has alot of stuff that i like and wish my 4runner had:
-v8 engine (mine is v6)
-full time 4wd (mine is rwd)
-memory seats
-leather seats, heated seats
-spoiler
and just the stuff the 06-09 models have that the 03-05 models doesnt have like the LED taillights, the projector headlights and such. ANd plus its white!
My 4runner means alot to me. It belonged to my father, who bought it new, then was pased down to my brother before it was passed down to me. That is the only thing that is holding me back right now, apart from the extra money i have to put in.

Money aside, how would your pops feel about you trading it in? Sentimental value is sometimes worth more than any amount of money

How often would you go off roading with 4x4? I know I've always wanted a 4wd 4runner but off roading requires time and money (damages, protective upgrades, etc.), and I don't have much of either to spare for that hobby. If you need 4x4 for the area/terrain (snow, etc.) you live in, that's another topic, but what is the 4x4 used for and how much would you actually gain by switching the vehicles out?

Have you talked to your dad about it?
