Hello I'm new here. I just picked up a good running 95 4 runner for $700 its actually in OK condition. This is going to be a full time trail rig. I have never owned a Toyota before and any advice would be great and very appreciated thanks.

Agreed! What are the longterm plans for it? What issues does it have now?

Only plans are bfg km2 tires in a 31 and basic maintenance. Just took it to the trails and everything works great!

I'm curious to what gen mine falls under. Manufacturing date is 10/95 so it would be a 96?

That's a second gen. It doesn't have the 3rd gen styling lines in the body, and the 3rd gen rear window doesn't wrap up to the roof like that. If you look under the hood, it'll have the 3.0 V6 or the 2.4 22RE, not the 3.4 V6 that came in the 3rd gen.
