Good Deal?

Finally got my final price sheet on my new 4runner. How does this sound for a final drive out price. $28,754.40 for an 04 4Runner V6 Sport 4X2 with the options below...

is the final drive out price with a down payment/trade in?
what about tax/title/license?

that final out the door price seems odd since its below invoice even if you figure in tax, title, license?

even at the min rates on the above, say $1000 for TTL, they would have sold it at just under 28k.

need more info please.

This is final drive out price after tax, title, and license and also with $1000 incentive. This is also before down payment.

if its a brand new runner (read no demo miles on, i say under 10 or 20 miles on the odometer), i would say thats a dam good deal.

probably trying to get rid of it since its a v6 and a 4x2, since the avg un-informed consumer wants a v8 and 4x4.

and since your part of t4r.org, you know you really dont need 4x4 in texas unless your going offroad, but then again you would have gotten the v8/v6 and 4x4.

at the above config you get roughly:

@ 1.9 apr at 60m = $507 payment
@ 2.9 apr at 60m = $519 payment

I don't get that, I thought the average un-informed consumer just bought whatever was put infront of them, all they know is they want a 4Runner

correct, hence the reason toyota mostly makes v8 4x4's and the reason the v6 4x2 is being sold so cheaply. the un-informed customer only knows that they should get the 4x4 and v8.

when they should get what they only need. most dont realized they only need the 4x2 and v6/v8 if they never intend to take the truck more than 5ft from the pavement or never see adverse weather conditions or never tow anything big.

in my case i got the SE v8 4x4 for the xreas, 6-8 months of snow season up here at times, and the occassional big item towing.

I just picked up the new 4runner and i'm loving it. Just had to get a quick pic and post. I'll post some better ones later.

ok, had to check to make sure you didnt steal my runner. yep mines still there. j/k. do take some pics when the suns out. again grats on the new runner.

i've come to realize, all SE comes with those crappy grandtreks, probably due to the 17 tires. they are crappy for snow from what snow i ran into back in Jan and Feb. otherwise they are great tires for dry pavement.
