next summer, my two friends and I are embarking on an epic road trip in my 4Runner, from Louisville, KY, in a circle through Dallas, Phoenix, LA, San Fran, Oregon, Yellowstone, The Dakotas, MN, Chicago, back to Louisville.
Being the 4Runner owner I am, I saw that out west they have long fire and logging trails that connect two major cities - spending more time taking an offroad scenic beats the interstate any day!!! Any stretches of offroad trails that link metropolitan areas?
