Since this is my first black vehicle I am beginning to be much more careful about what I use to dry, etc. for fear of swirling up my paint. What is a soft quality buffing cloth to use for waxing black, so as not to destroy the truck? I've heard that Mothers makes a good one. Any suggestions?

As far as drying and wax removal I personally use the microfiber towels from Griot's Garage. I have also used their 100% cotton towels. Being your first black vehicle, i know how you feel. I remember when I got my first black car, I was scared to death to wash or wax it........that was three black cars ago. I won't have any other color now.

I have those costco microfibers, and they work well, but they're very linty!! So yesterday I went to the pepboys and bought the meguiar's watermagnet and it was great! I was almost able to dry the whole truck with 1 towel. So I recommend that towel to anyone.

I've used turtlewax microfiber towles on all of my black vehicles and they work great. I also just picked up these towles at the supermarket. I call them "egg" towles not sure what they're really called. They sort of remind me of the inside of an egg carton (Iknow, it sounds stupid). They work great for drying though.
