Good price for a amp???

Im new to all this aftermarket stuff and customizing cars sorry if it is a dumb question ,but im a n00b and i dont want to spend alot of money on something that is not good...

So the question is Amp- JL Audio A-1200 for $75 just for amp or i could get Amp- JL Audio A-1200+rca cables speaker wire ground and amp wire for $100 yes its used

Im wondering is that a good/fair price?Also will it power two sub woofers???Sorry im new to all this what else do i need in order to make a system bump?

From the research i did the JL Audio A-1200 only puts out 275 Watts


lol that wont power much.. if anything at all especially not 2 subs.. For the price.. nah i wouldnt do it. that amp is used more to power speakers than subwoofers.

The A1200 is a solid 200 watt amp, and isn't over rated like a lot of other stuff on the market.

It's generally used to power a single sub, not full range speakers considering it is a mono amplifier. Since it is a mono amplifier, it gets max power at 2 ohms, and most midrange speakers will be 4 ohms. The A2150 is almost the same amp, just 2 channels and slightly less power. This amp works best if your sub is 4 ohms or if you are trying to power 2 midrange speakers.

$75 isn't bad for just the amp depending on how long its been used and the shape its in... You can snag a new one for a little over $200.
