Just tip for anyone hunting rattles,
One thing I found that works REALLY well for rattles are those little stick-on felt pads you buy for putting on the bottom of things to keep from scratching your tables, etc. You can get a card of them at the hardware, usually with a bunch of different diameters of them.
A good place to use them - the sunroof. You need to apply them to those black plastic trim pieces on either side of the interior area of the sunroof and the sliders they mount to. I pulled off the trim and added some felt pieces to the underside of the sliding piece (the felt slides nicely on the aluminum rails) and then to the back and underside of the trim pieces to tighten up the press-fits, and also keep them from rattling on the aluminum rail.
Anyway, just thought I would share the tip. It seems like these would work anywhere a part could be rattling from a poor or stressed fit.
