Good shops in MD?

MD MC

Was looking for a place to perform the Tundra brake upgrade and 2” lift. Have another vehicle so I’m not pushy if it takes a few weeks. I live in central MD so anywhere that’s within 50 miles. I see tons of members from my area so hope to help support a good local shop.

Apologize if this belongs in another forum, feel free to private message any suggestions. This is for a 2000 limited

Thanks

Check out this place called Extra Mile Performance in Odenton. I haven't dealt with them personally but they come highly recommended. Hope this helps. Extra Mile Performance

Not sure what your definition of Central Maryland is. Anyways, I trust two shops with my vehicles and I'm very picky. Neither are necessarily mod shops but are willing to work with you if you have a coherent plan.

Daisy Import Auto is in Woodbine and owned by a guy named Ben. He's highly recommended in the NSX and S2000 communities and has worked on my S2000 and 4Runner. He's a great, experienced, and honest mechanic. Ben's done a fair bit of troubleshooting when I've had issues and I'd trust him to figure out any problem. He regularly has NSX's spread around for engine out type services. He is not a smooth talking service manager at a dealer but that's not what I want in a shop.

If you're further North, I also recommend Bel Air Auto Service in Fallston, MD. Don't let the fact that he shares the facility with the BP scare you. His shop is legit. I've recently had my 4Runner in there to have the frame patched/welded, lift, diff drop, and panhard correction installed. They're an honest shop that does great work. I'm thrilled to have my truck back with the new suspension on. Their welds look pretty good to me and they did a great job de-scaling and POR15ing the rest of my truck. Chris has been honest and responsive and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have been to others that I will not recommend or call out by name but these two, I go out of my way to take my vehicles to.

Thank you to both of you I will look into all 3. I should have said “i95 corridor” no offense to my good neighbors down the shore or in the mountains. I split time between Owings Mills and Columbia, so these 3 are on the table.

Can you post a few pics of the frame repair work? I need to find a place that knows what they're doing, my Runner is getting a bit sketchy in the frame.
