So yea the last few months have been crazy for me. In a mini mid life crisis (mid life? hell Im 27) I traded in my mint 06 4x4 SE on a 09 370Z and regretted it almost immediately. I had been blessed with an opportunity to settle the score so to speak and took it! Just drove home in a 07 SE 4x4, even the same color! Upgraded to the V8 too :bigok:

Ive got 7 qts of Amsoil Severe Gear coming to do the diffs, and got some M1 to do an oil change. Planning on another XD HID kit and interior LEDs also. Gonna have a fun Labor Day weekend.

Thats all just wanted to share my excitement with you guys.

Cool GMZ! Welcome back! Besides the love for your Runner, what else was the reason you didn't like the 370z? Seems like a pretty fun car to drive.

It was fun, when I was going balls to the wall. Under normal driving it sucked to put it nicely. It was an impulse buy anyway. So now I threw several thousands down the drain for a net gain of zero. But Im back in a 4R so its all good!

LOL! I hear ya. I get those moments myself but I keep telling myself my truck is almost paid for and then there will be no justification for jumping ship for midlife crisis. By the way I'm not sure which LED company you go with but I had 4 #194 go bad on me by v-leds. They have great customer service but man I had bad luck with their #194 led product. 4 of them went out on me.

Welcome back... My friends frequently ask why don't I have a GTO, G8, 'vette, whatever... I love an SUV! The only other choice for me would be an extended/crew cab, short-box truck. The 'U' in SUV suits my life better than just about anything else

i did the same when i was about i guess 26-27 years old. i traded my 3rd gen on an Audi S4. i kept that car for a year or two or three [i cant remember] but lifestyle did not permit to have a sports car so now im back to a 4Runner again.:guitar2:

Damn that V8 is so smooth! I think Ill miss getting on the highway at triple digit speeds but you cant do that forever. Just ordered another HID kit from XD!

I did the same thing. I bought new a 06' V8 Sport in Silver and put on ICON CO's for a 3" lift with 33's and loved the truck. I got a wild hair and decided to sell it to buy a new Jeep Rubi Unlimited, add a 4.5" lift and 37's and hated it. No power and handled like crap. Sold it an bought an 05' V8 Sport with only 35K miles for half the price of my 06'. Glad to be back!
