Goodyear Fortera SilentArmor

Anybody has experience with the new Goodyear Fortera SilentArmors? How do they perform?

The reviews from TireRack looks solid but they do not come in the standard OEM size for the 4th gens.

I only know what I've read at Tire Rack, but the reviews are pretty positive. In fact, once my Cross Terrains wear out, I am moving up to 265/70/17 and will get either the Silent Armors or the Dueler Alenza. Tire Rack's experts tested the Alenzas and rated them better than the Cross Terrains for both noise and comfort, if memory serves me.

I figure I've got about another six months before they need to be replaced, so many more reviews of both tires will be posted.

6 months? How many miles do you have on them? I've got over 80K on mine, and they are still fine.

I have 40,000 miles on them and they are only half worn. I don't understand all of the negative reviews at Tire Rack regarding tread wear, so...maybe I was being conservative with the six month estimate. These things are wearing like iron.

I said the same thing a year ago, that's why I asked.

I personally love them. They could be a little better off road, but I'm more of an offroad wannabee in all actuality, so I really don't get out that often to actually use it.
