I know, I know... at this point people think I get kickbacks from Goodyear imp:

However, this is just a simple thread to post wear and mileage, since Goodyear offers no estimate. Initial tread depth according to Tire Rack is 18/32nds of an inch and "worn out" in the US is 2/32nds. If you have Duratracs, please post up mileage, remaining tread depth, size, load rating, and usual psi.

At 25,000 miles I have 13/32nds of remaining tread depth on 265/70/17 "E" tires at 44 psi. If things continue like this, I'm looking at 60k before I think about replacing them.

Good to hear. I have about 60k on my Goodyear AT/S and starting to save to replace em with the Duratracs this summer. I only have 70K total miles so don't drive all that much(it's an 04). I don't fly around cornners and no burnouts so I expect my tires to last.

How about road noise and how are they in the rain?

Mild hum above 60, but you can't hear it above normal conversation. They've handled Seattle's weather nicely.

I would never run a tire up to 60k miles . Especially a 4x4 where you tend to take it off road or driving in severe weather conditions . I guess if your just road driving in snow or rain , dry , it would be ok.

I like the looks of those Duratecs !! Im glad to hear they are road friendly . I wish they were available in a P or C rated . I doubt it but will look them up.
