Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor Initial MPG
Ok. So finally came to do another fill up with the new shoes. Last time I filled it, I had 5miles left on my range indicator. So I had to drive around my neighborhood for a bit before I hit the station. Hence, my neighbors lookin at me funny for seeing me drive around int circles.
Here are the facts.
I filled up, then reseted everything including my nav's trip indicators. I didn't want to wait til the range indicator to hit zero because the runner can still run about 20 miles after that.
Initial Fill up:
Range indicator 5.
Gallons it took to fill up 20.7
Fill up today:
Range indicator 6
Gallons it took to fill up 20.5
Miles driven on the runner: 290.2 MPG Calculated: 14.15 mpg.
Miles driven on my nav: 301.7 MPG Calculated: 14.72 mpg.
Variables: Average Temp 20-40 degrees (no snow or rain), I used Shell 87 octane, had 32psi on SAs and they looked under inflated (under inflated uses more gas), I also have daystar lift, so my runner might have created more drags (lost the aerodynamic nose dive stance), plus new tires eats more gas then the ones broken in.
Toyota claimed 15 city 19hwy on stock. I was getting around 16mpg (Hwy/City mix) with dunflop.
See? No need for alarm falls
