Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain

Let's start a discussion on the new Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain sold exclusively at Discount Tire / Americas Tire.

Backstory:

I bought my '01 4Runner in May of '17 with a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 265/70r16 tires with unknown mileage on them. They were loud. Very loud. I've always read that they are a quiet tire and I figure any new set of tires is going to be quieter than what I was used to having. So, I was planning just to buy a new set before the winter as they were pretty worn. I walk into my local Discount Tire store where I plainly ask for a quote on a new set of Duratrac's in a 265/75r16 size. He obliged and handed me a quote at a fair price. Then he asked if I had seen the Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrain tire and considered it as an option. It wasn't on display or anything but I had seen it on their website. Before I could say anything he went to the back and grabbed a tire to show me what it was all about. Very good looking tire. I ended up leaving with both quotes so I could make a decision over the weekend.

I called him up first thing Monday morning and told him to order the set in a LT265/75r16 E-Load. This brings us to today when they arrived and I had them mounted up.

Initial thoughts:
- Damn they look good!
- Quiet!
- Smooth!
- Did I mention they're quiet?

I like them however, when I looked on the Discount Tire website the 17' size were not available to order. However, the 18' size were in stock and obviously you got 16'.

I personally will never buy another set of E load range tires after my current ones are done.

Thanks. They are exactly the style I have been waiting for. I searched the Goodyear site numerous times and got a message indicating that they were not available for my vehicle. They showed them in 18' though.

Got a set

33 inch tires just added, 275/60r20 wrangler ultra terrains.
3” lift in front/rear and I am going to trim body mounts in the morning it’s rubbing a lot.

The picture I took of them on the car won’t upload? Any way to fix that on iPhone X? Not sure if it’s a file size issue or what? The tire picture posted cus phone was held in regular position works but when held sideways (photo of vehicle with wheels on) those pictures won’t load?

Another angle on 4runner with some extra added lift . I will also add a review after a couple days driving on these tires. They are very quiet and smooth on pavement. Also it’s been raining a lot in California and they don’t skip a beat in water either, very confident tires so far . Treadwear rating on this size is (treadwear: 500) also btw.
