I would love to go off topic some time, post my own thoughts on the state of the world, maybe even change my signature line to something blatantly offensive and trollish. Lulz.

It is my understanding that China allowed Google into their country in exchange for enhanced monitoring/filtering capabilities. No doubt some large bribes were demanded as well.

sorry about my old signature. Hope you like my new one. Far more informative this new one is.didn't read the article, but I am quite aware of what is going on, google is throwing a tantrum since Clinton lost and they are out of the white house. yes under Obama google had offices in the white house (little known fact).
the simple fact that they are now using their robotic tech to help the Chinese military and not ours since they feared their tech could be used in war make zero sense. but then again what did you expect from a company that steals your info and sells it to anyone who will pay for it? hmm, their office is free, os is free, mail is free... our info must sure be worth a lot to them
and your comment to use ios, trust me, I avoid google like the plague, their devices may be cheap, but the software behind it is so bad, oh yeah and it steals everything it can about you

Well I love the Pixel compared to the iPhone 8+ that's for sure.
I think any of these tech companies that let their employees dictate contacts need to un-F themselves and had get rid of the problem employees. It is crazy that some social justice BS comes into the workplace. Now the engineers are getting radicalized too?
Did you watch the James Damore (formerly Google) interview on Joe Rogan? Worth watching.
Microsoft and Amazon are not giving an inch to crazy employees demanding social justice but unfortunately FB and Google put up with these people.

Anyways I don't know one way or the other if Google is being unpatriotic. I know MS and Amazon work with ICE and the US Military and that Google and FB have come under a lot of pressure by their own employees to stop all cooperation work in those areas.
The reason Google isn't working with US Military as much as it could be is because it's in social justice focused employees protested at Google about 2 years ago. You might have missed the articles dude.
