This is awesome as I wouldn't want to move to an area where there's a huge population of sex-offenders and not know about it.

like you said.. information = power. BUT this can be taken both ways... people can now find these offenders and harrass them or even worse.. physically hurt them.

I know ... but its not going to solve anything if these parents go beat and torture these ex-offenders. I'm not sticking up for these dudes.. I care more about children then anyone else.
