Goose Gear 8” or 10” drawers?

Anyone here have the 8” Goose Gear drawers? Is it enough space for you? Leaning towards getting their 8” version to store stuff and still have enough room to mount a fridge slide and decent cargo space.

I bought the GooseGear 10” drawers for my last 4Runner and they were awesome. My buddy had the 8” that I looked at before I bought some drawers and they were a little shallow for what I wanted to put in them. The interior dimensions are less than 8”. The 10” is a good universal height if you wanna change up to sleeping platform, etc. down the road and they have enough height to put taller things in. I had a fridge with a tilt slide and all was good with the 10” height drawers.

Some other things to consider:
1) Do you plan to sleep on top? If so that 2" difference can be huge. I know because their 10" drawer was not high enough so I had to build my own setup with 11" deep for specific items I always carry so losing that inch is noticeable.
2) What to you plan to store in the drawers? I custom built my drawer kit around what I need to store and as needs have changed I kind of wish I'd gone with 1 deep drawer and split the other side to a shallow and medium depth drawer. This would make it easier to find keep things organized and find things in the massive drawer. Thinking of some light weight trays to use as pull outs but have not found anything that I like yet.
3) Since I DO sleep on my setup but typically only when out by myself My next setup will likely be a 40% width set of drawers on one side and a very low profile sleeping platform on the other. Think of something like their Solo Fridge Slide XL with a top to even it out with the rear seat for the sleeping platform.

I recommend taking out all of your stuff, chalking a line on the driveway, garage floow or using some masking tape on the living room floor to define the interior dimensions of each drawer box then stacking up out gear to 8" and 10" and see which works better for the gear you carry and the way you want to use it.
