Whatever you dislike the most or whatever is the most destroyed... This is more of a question you need to ask yourself.

However, if it were mine... I would make the drivetrain solid and reliable first. There's nothing worse than being stuck on the side of the road.

If you don't know when the timing chain was last serviced, that'd be where I'd start.

You should post a few pics of your new 4runner.

The timing chain will make alot of noise on startup when its worn just pull valve cover off and inspect. Make sure the drivetrain is serviced, plugs,wires, oils,filters ect..
