I just picked up a 2002 SR5 4x4 in phoenix. 210k miles, no accidents, original paint, no dents, new KO2's. Owner said he's only used the 4wd once. It's amazing how rust free 4runners that have spent their whole life in arizona are. Downsides are that it has been a little neglected, all original bushings, leaking valve cover gaskets, heater temp cable non operational, cracked and missing front seat leather.
Now I have a 96 and an 02. My 96 is pretty nice but has some dings and the clear coat is in rough shape. I've been working on the 96 non-stop though and have done all the control arm bushings and ball joints up front. I really should only keep one but I can't decide which one I like better.
Help me decide.
